In December 2017, partners from Belgium and Portugal joined the Italian crew at Padova, Italy. This 3rd transnational meeting was hosted by XENA - Centro scambi e dinamiche interculturali, that gave the group the perfect conditions for a couple of working days. The meeting was shorter than expected due to flight cancellations (the snow in Belgium is to blame!) but partners managed to proceed with the finalization of the outputs that the project aims to create with the input of all.
A final version of the playing rules of the BOARDGAME was created, following the tests and feedback collected in all countries. Regarding the APP, development is on the way and some collective decisions were made. To feed the MANUAL the group had fruitful discussions around the world of work, the role of facilitators and the concept of challenging. The structure is defined and the input is being created. The AGENDA got its contents totally finalized and the proof-design was approved by all. It's looking really great!!
For the first half of 2018, focus will be on testing final versions with end users and translating contents from Engligh to Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. The lauching of the outputs will be in June 2018 in Cascais, during the Cascais 2018 European Youth Capital.
A improved version of the game is now in its final testing phase. Partners contibuted to the 160 cards with tasks and questions on employability competences. In october and november 2017, feedback is being collected in all the participating countries from different groups to arrive to the final version.
It's being really funny but also instructive to play!
After 6 months running the project, it was time for partners to meet again and further develop the 4 outputs, discuss directions and agree on the next steps.
The beta version of the Tips & Hints Agenda had been tested by partners in Italy, Belgium and Portugal and the feedback was put in common to allow the team to take decisions on the final structure of the document. The meeting had also the visit of a local employment youth worker who gave valuable technical input.
The board game was ready to test: card games, board, several dices, progression system,... It was played by some partners (not involved in the conception) and also a person from outside the project to see out how it worked. Everyone was enthusiastic while playing and gave suggestions for nice improvements.
The app team was thinking collectively on how to increase gamification and make sure app users will be engaged. The user's journey was designed and technical issues discussed.
All the partners gave inputs and suggestions for the handbook and content is being created.
It was great to work together again (much richer than skype meetings!) and see the outputs growing with everyone's ideas and inputs.
Next meeting? Italy in December with the 4 outputs in the final stage of conception.
The partners of the project met in Cascais - Portugal on the 5th - 7th december 2016. This was the kich-off meeting to connect the people, settle our common vision and define plans and roles within the project.
They were sunny days filled with discussions, thinking and gathering!
The next meeting will be in June in Belgium. Until then tere's lots of work to do!!!
